Ep 16 | Shifting FOMO

In today's episode, I share my personal journey of navigating the complex emotion of FOMO that comes with being a working mother.

The Fear of Missing Out - FOMO - is such a real feeling when working from home. It can lead to feelings of guilt and overwhelm about not being present enough with family.

But fear not, Mummas! You best believe I have got some mindset shifts for you that will transform your perspective to manage that mental load of juggling work and motherhood.

This episode serves as a powerful reminder that no one is alone in their struggles. As mothers, we all face challenges, but by shifting our mindset and supporting each other, we can overcome them and thrive.

In this episode, you will learn:

  • Why self-awareness is so important in recognising and addressing feelings of guilt and overwhelm associated with FOMO

  • How to replace old, disempowering thoughts with new, empowering ones that bring balance and alleviate stress in your lives.

  • How to focus on quality over quantity when it comes to spending time with your children, and the impact of creating meaningful memories and connections.

So, to all my powerhouse working mummas out there. Remember there is huge value in setting a positive example for children by pursuing personal passions and career goals.

Have a listen and take these new thoughts and apply them to your own life. See how they can help you manage the mental load and alleviate the guilt that often comes with being a working mum. And remember, you're doing an amazing job.
